The Turkey Finger Puppet Rhyme

I won't be doing a Thanksgiving storytime this year, but I spotted this rhyme in Easy-To-Make Puppets And How to Use Them by Fran Rottman (1978 edition) and I thought I would share:

The Turkey
"Gobble, gobble,"
Says the turkey.
"Soon 'twill be
Thanksgiving Day--
Will you eat me? 
How you treat me! I will run away."
