Today I have a very important Flannel Friday announcement! Hopefully it will not confuse anyone, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew about an event we are planning! On December 2nd, we will be hosting a Winter/Holiday Extravaganza, so we are asking everyone to post their winter or holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year's, St. Nicholas Day, etc., etc.,) flannel stories on that day. Hopefully that will give everyone enough lead time that if they see something they want to make for a program this year, they'll have enough time. If you don't have anything that fits this theme, that's fine! You can either post something else entirely or skip the week--your choice. Or you can be like me and use this as an excuse to make a new flannel story!
After that, the next two weeks (12/9 and 12/16) will be regularly scheduled "anything goes" Flannel Fridays. Flannel Friday will be on holiday hiatus for December 23rd and 30th, and will resume with a bang on January 6th.

Now through the end of November: "normal" Flannel Fridays
December 2: Holiday Extravaganza!
December 9 and 16: normal
December 23 and 30: closed for the the holidays
January 6: Back to normal!
