Library Day in the Life

If you're looking for my #libday7 post, I hope to have something up later this week (I hope Saturday) as we have closed my (youth) department for this week for painting. I am thrilled about this but it makes for a much atypical week. If you'd like to read about a much more typical day in my life as a children's librarian, please read my post from last summer.

If anyone is interested, I will write up a post later this week about our makeover. Or at least share photos.

  1. So did they put you in a different department? I can't wait to see the pictures.

  2. I saw the picture. Love the colors. I'm going to have to send you a picture of our library so you can see the painting and then direct you to our flickr page for our before pics.

  3. Actually, I have been staying put in the youth department which has been great. I was able to wrap up our summer reading program statistics and prizes so much faster than trying to do it while we are open (we have no off-desk space or time in my building).

We have been working on some fun projects that I am excited to share pictures of soon... maybe tomorrow or Saturday (Friday I am at a workshop all day.)

  4. Did you get the pictures I sent you? Let me know what you think!

  5. That is great you were able to catch up on summer reading stuff. We do not have that much off the desk time. Just on Tuesday mornings and for a half an hour for 2 days.
